CALENDAR

March 25th:

Beer Dinner at Sapor MPLS

Where? Sapor, downtown MPLS

Beer dinner/showdown featuring Chris and Aran showcasing Fmb while Lanny Hoff pours a variety of Belgian beers. There will be one FmB and one Belgian paired with each of three courses. Should be a hoot, and the food will be awesome! $55/per person. Call ahead to reserve space.

March 28th:

Yeasty Beasties at Sugar Maple

Where? Sugar Maple, Milwaukee

Aran will be getting together with a few other brewers/breweries for a Sunday afternoon discussion about funky yeast. There will be beer drinking to prove the various points made by the presenters. If you haven't been to Sugar Maple in Bayview, you should go to this event just to see how awesome Sugar Maple is - it is an American Craft Beer-lover's heaven. No joke.

April 7th - 10th:

Craft Brewer's Conference/Worls Beer Cup

Where? Chicago, USA, baby!

It's in our backyard this year, so we're going to go throw down with the rest of the brewing universe. I'm guessing we'll meet some people and learn some stuff. We'll also visit with our friends Tracy and Doug at Metropolitan Brewing. Word.

Oh, yeah - we also entered our lineup into the World Beer Cup competition. Let's see what the judges thing of apples, beets, black pepper, peat-smoked malt and the like.

April 24th:

Between the Bluffs Fest

Where? LaCrosse, WI

Beer fest at the Oktoberfest grounds in LaX. A fun time.

May 1st:

The Nova Beer Fest Thingy

Where? Hudson, WI

We're going to hang out with Tyrell (whose name I still can't pronounce. Sorry, buddy)and Frank (aka Rebecca). We like these folks. A lot. Come to their event!

May 4th:

Happy Gnome Beer Dinner

Where? St. Paul, MN

Oooooh, boy - we're going St. Paul to eat and drink at one of the Midwest preeminent beer-centric restaurants (I'm told we're calling them "Gastro-pubs" now...) Nick and the gang have treated us well since we got into the Minnesota market, and we enjoy any opportunity we have to return some love. This event is pre-ticketed. Get yours while you can: the food (and beer!) is awesome. The company won't suck, either.
